He received his cum laude doctoral degree for the thesis on the retroactive operation of law (2003). He received a habilitation in 2012 on the basis of the monograph \u201eLegal intuition. Towards an external integration of legal theory\u201d (Intuicja prawniczna. W stron\u0119 zewn\u0119trznej integracji teorii prawa), for which he received the annual Award for the best habilitation thesis in the XLIX Contest of the leading Polish legal journal \u201cPa\u0144stwo i Prawo\u201d (State and Law). Since 2005, he was admitted to the Regional Chamber of Legal Advisors in Katowice (exam with the 2nd position) and for the next over 20 years has been associated with one of the largest and most renowned Polish legal firms. In the years 2005\u20132007 he occupied the position of a Silesian Voivode (head of governmental administration in the region). He was a scholarship fellow of US State Department and the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation; vice chairman of the National Ethics Committee for Animal Testing of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education within 2009\u20132016 (currently a member of this commission), since 2016 \u2013 vice chairman of the Bioethics Committees of the Silesian Medical Chamber as well as the Silesian Medical University. Tomasz Pietrzykowski is a member of a number of expert teams and advisory bodies, including the Advisory Board of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice, the chairman of the Social and Economic Council of the Silesian Metropolitan Union as well as a member of the Team of Legal Experts of the Stefan Batory Foundation in Warsaw. Participant of legislative and expert works on many laws and normative acts. Advisor to the president of Katowice a\/o for restitution claims of the Giesche SA company (2008\u20132014) and for preparation and implementation of metropolitan legal instruments. She graduated in two faculties \u2013 political science and psychology, which are consistently joined within her scientific and research works.<\/span><\/p>\n an author of dozens of articles covering the issues of electoral behaviours, especially their psychological determinants, political leadership and civic competence. She is a coordinator and executor of numerous scientific and research grants (a\/o Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation, National Centre of Science and the Ministry of Regional Development). She also pursues her scientific passions in an organisational way as the president of dynamically operating Electoral Research Section at the Polish Political Science Association, president of the IPSO ORDO Academic Foundation which establishes vast cooperation with local governments and editor in chief of the \u201dPolitical Preferences\u201d magazine. Member of the European Consortium for Political Research and American Political Science Association. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Later, she has been developing her research interests abroad during her mobility financed by Erasmus + staying at NISE (National Movements and Intermediary Structures in Europe in Antwerp) and ECMI (European Centre for Minority Issues in Flensburg). His research interests cover sociology of work, economic sociology and just transition. For many years, he was studying in the field of trust and risk. Author of numerous articles, author and co-author of five books and editor of edited volumes. He is also a scientific coordinator of the Just Transition Research Group at the University of Silesia in Katowice and a member of Just Transition Research Collaborative at UNSDP. Co-author of the report Propozycje rekomendacji dla obszaru sprawiedliwa transformacja prepared for the Ministry of Climate (2020). Research cooridinator and research team member in numerous research projects for Marshal Office of Silesia, Office of the Voivode of Silesia, Town Hall of Katowice and others.<\/span><\/p>\n\n
