We are pleased to announce that the SPIN-Lab Centre for Microscopic Research<\/strong> on Matter<\/strong> at the University of Silesia in Katowice has signed an agreement for scientific, research, and development cooperation with Technoorg Linda<\/strong>, a global leader in ion polishing technology for microscopy. As part of this agreement, a modern DEMO-Lab<\/strong> has been opened, where materials can be prepared using advanced ion polishing technology.<\/p>\n

The official signing ceremony took place on March 17, 2026. On behalf of the University of Silesia, the agreement was signed by the Vice-Rector for Finance, Prof. Micha\u0142 Daszykowski. On behalf of the company, the agreement was signed by Andr\u00e1s Szigethy, the CEO of Technoorg Linda<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The DEMO-Lab has already begun its operations \u2014 on March 18\u201319, the first workshops were held on the use of ion beams for sample preparation for imaging using various microscopy techniques. The workshops were organized jointly with Uni-Export Instruments Polska<\/strong>. They were extremely popular, reaching the maximum number of participants.<\/p>\n

We believe that this cooperation will contribute to the further development of innovative research and strengthen the technological potential of both parties.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
