ZBYNĚK JANÁČEK

In the years 1976-1981 he graduated from the Faculty of Arts of Palacky University in Olomouc. In the early 1990s, he participated in the creation of a new field of art studies at the University of Ostrava, where he has been teaching since 1993. Here he also continuously held the positions of deputy dean, dean and vice-rector. He received the title of assistant professor in 1998. He was appointed as a professor in 2017. Since 2016, he has been the head of the graphic studio of the Department of Drawing and Graphics at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ostrava. He took part in many collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad (Poland, Italy, Slovakia, Germany). He has exhibited independently at dozens of exhibitions in Poland and abroad. He is the winner of the Award. Vladimír Boudník Award for 2013 and the winner of Graphics Awards in 2010 and 2014. His work involves graphic design, screen printing and computer graphics. He is a member of the Koncretistů 3 Club, SČUG Hollar, Art Department Art Talk and the Q Association, Brno. Lives and works in Ostrava.

JAN DROZD

In 1998 he graduated from the University of Ostrava in the animation studio run by Ilja Novák. He worked as an artist and animator at the QQ film and animation studio in Ostrava. He taught art courses and worked for 15 years at the Art High School in Ostrava as a teacher of animation and digital graphics. Since 2017, he has been working as an assistant at the Department of Graphics and Drawing, Faculty of Arts, University of Ostrava. He deals with graphics, painting, animation and music (jandrozd.com). He had several individual exhibitions (Ostrava, Odry, Zielona Góra) and took part in group exhibitions (Ostrava, Opava, Prague, Kraków, Wrocław, Toruń, Gdańsk, Banská Bystrica).

MAREK SIBINSKÝ

Marek Sibinský was born on January 20, 1974 in Frýdek-Místek. He graduated from a secondary art and industrial school in Brno in 1992, specializing in painting. In 1997, he completed his master’s studies at the Faculty of Education at the University of Ostrava (Department of Fine Arts – Studio of Free and Applied Graphics under Prof. Eduard Ovčáček). In 2006, he completed his doctoral studies at the University of Silesia in Katowice, branch in Cieszyn, Faculty of Arts, Institute of Art. In 2015, he obtained the postdoctoral degree in the field of visual arts at the University of Silesia in Katowice, branch in Cieszyn, Faculty of Arts, Institute of Art. Since 1998, he has been working as a lecturer at the Department of Graphics and Drawing at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Ostrava.

EWA JAWORSKA

A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, branch in Katowice. Diploma with honors in graphic design in 2000. Since graduating, she has been professionally involved in design, artistic and teaching activities. He deals with animation, graphics and graphic design. A crucial element influencing her creations and artistic explorations is the connection between art and life. Human presence is always apparent in her work; she is interested in various aspects of human life.

KAJA RENKAS

Designer, poster artist, and artist working in the realm of the latest digital technologies. In her works, she continually explores new areas for exploration, recently combining traditional workshops with the possibilities offered by working with Augmented Reality. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, she obtained her diploma in graphic arts. She continued her education at the Artistic Department of the Institute of Art at the University of Silesia, where she currently holds a position as a professor.

KATARZYNA KROCZEK-WASIŃSKA

Ph.D. Katarzyna Kroczek – Wasińska, professor Uś, graphic artist. She specializes in digital and multimedia graphics. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, she has been associated with the Faculty of Art and Education Sciences at the University of Silesia since 2005, where she holds the position of University Professor. She has participated in numerous individual and group exhibitions, both domestic and international (including Belgium, China, France, South Korea, Lithuania, Macedonia, Germany, Russia, Italy, Serbia, Japan, USA, Mexico), research projects, workshops, conferences, and is the author of articles, as well as the recipient of awards and distinctions.

MAŁGORZATA KANIOWSKA

Conductor, educator, composer, cultural animator. Founder and artistic director of the “Camerata Impuls” orchestra, with which she has realized numerous concert and recording projects in Poland and abroad. Author of several publications in the field of conducting pedagogy and interpretation. Participant in many international scientific conferences. She has given lectures on the interpretation of Polish contemporary music. Organizer and initiator of many educational events for children and youth. Her interests also include creative interactions between sound and image.
