Information about the conference
The aim of the conference is to discuss the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the justice system in practice. The conference is organized more than 2 years after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe, and therefore it will be an excellent opportunity to analyze how regulations in European countries regarding the functioning of the justice system have changed in the times of COVID-19. The conference will also be an opportunity to present the results of detailed research conducted by the project team operating at the Faculty of Law and Administration, implementing the NAWA grant on the functioning of the justice system in the time of the COVID-19 pandemic. As part of the conference, the topic of developing a model solution for combating a pandemic will also be discussed, so that in possible subsequent special situations it will have a solution prepared for use. It will also be analyzed whether the solutions implemented in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic in various countries will be permanent and whether they will find their place in the legal systems of these countries for a longer time.
The conference will take the form of a hybrid – partly it will be held remotely and partly stationary (the number of stationary places is limited).
