Prof. Robert Pyka, PhD<\/strong> <strong>(Project Coordinator at the University of Silesia),<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"533\" data-end=\"855\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Assoc. Prof. Krzysztof Bierwiaczonek, PhD,<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"533\" data-end=\"855\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Zuzanna Neuve-\u00c9glise, PhD,<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"533\" data-end=\"855\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Assoc. Prof. Ma\u0142gorzata Suchacka, PhD<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"533\" data-end=\"855\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The event brought together participants from metropolitan areas across Central Europe. The main objective was to present the first outcomes of the work conducted within the <em>study<\/em> <em>clusters<\/em> \u2013 working groups formed around the best practices and tools for metropolitan cooperation identified during the initial phase of the project.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"857\" data-end=\"1082\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Held in the heart of Ostrava, the meeting highlighted the importance of collaboration and demonstrated the potential for knowledge transfer and the adaptation of practical solutions tailored to specific metropolitan contexts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1084\" data-end=\"1438\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">In addition to the plenary sessions, the hosts organised a <strong data-start=\"1143\" data-end=\"1158\">study visit<\/strong> to <strong data-start=\"1162\" data-end=\"1181\">Doln\u00ed V\u00edtkovice<\/strong> \u2013 a revitalized post-industrial site comprising a former steel mill, coke plant and coal mine.
