Preliminary work is underway on the implementation of a project concerning the analysis of annual increments of shrubs as indicators of environmental changes in arid and semi-arid climates area. The project is carried out together with the Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences.<\/p>\n
