USil researchers won the MINIATURA 6 call for proposals

The National Science Centre has published the ranking list of MINIATURA 6 call for proposals. Its goal is to support research actions that will lead to preparing future research projects which will be submitted in calls for proposals by the National Science Centre or other national and international calls. Grant could be granted for preliminary and pilot studies, queries, research internships as well as research and consultation trips.

Four scientific activities of people from the University of Silesia have been qualified for funding.

The list of winners

  • Paulina Trybek, PhD from the Faculty of Science and Technology – research internship: Study of the Properties of Conduction Signals in BK Channels by Empirical Mode Analysis;
  • Marta Tomczok, PhD, DLitt, Assoc. Prof. from the Faculty of Humanities – preliminary/pilot studies: Exhibitions and Speculative Fictions on the Past and Future of Coal in the Decarbonization Culture: A Gathering of Interviews with Artists and Curators;
  • Michalina Ilska, PhD from the Faculty of Social Sciences – preliminary/pilot studies: The Role of an Informational Film in Reducing the Fear of C-section in Women in the Perinatal Period;
  • Michalina Ilska, PhD from the Faculty of Social Sciences – preliminary/pilot studies: Sleep Disorders in Pregnancy: Effects on Maternal and Infant Mental Health.
