Accessibility of the entrance to the building and control area
The building is labelled with an information board on the side of ul. św. Pawła.
Before the exit from ul. Warszawska to ul. św. Pawła there is a vertical sign: an arrow with the inscription ‘Szkoła Filmowa’ (Film School)
The main entrance is 180 cm wide, no thresholds, glazed door opened to the outside. The glazed surface of the vestibule is marked with warning labels.
There are two large concrete benches in front of the entrance.
Inside, opposite the entrance door, there is a porter’s lodge in the distance of approximately 6 m. The security employees provide all possible information to anyone interested.
Accessibility of corridors, stairs and lifts
There are 2 lifts in the building.
Types of adjustments inside the building
There are 13 toilets in the building, including 5 toilets adjusted for people with disabilities.
2 toilets on the 3rd level, 1 toilet on the 2nd level, 1 toilet on level 0. Doors to the toilets are 0,97 cm wide. Lighting with motion sensors has been applied in all toilets.
Toilets on level 0 are located behind the porter’s lodge and patio in the building, whereas on levels 2-3 (where lecture halls are located), they are near the lifts.
All rooms in the Film School can be accessed by a wheelchair. There is a reception counter in the dean’s office and it consists of two parts: one with a height of 1.07 cm, and the lower one with a height of 0.95 cm.
Parking places designated for persons with disabilities and exploitation thereof
The parking spaces for the disabled are located in the underground garage of the Film School. Entrance from ul. św. Pawła, lighted intercom located on the wall on the right side, direct contact with the porter’s lodge of the building.
Parking for employees, students and guests is free of charge.
The door from the garage with a width of 0.90 cm leads to a small hall, from where it is possible to go by lift or walk to level 0 through the staircase.
