Dr. Anna Watoła, teacher from the University of Silesia, completed another research in Kenya during which she increased her knowledge about the early education of Maasai children and possibility of using information and communication technologies (ICT) by Kenyan students. The research results will be the basis for a new monograph.

The stay was also an opportunity to establish cooperation with Koitaleel Samoei University College of Nairobi. The joint activities will include exchange of students and doctoral students, organisation of guest lectures, symposiums and study visits, participation in educational projects, scientific internships, as well as language and teaching practices.

During her two-month visit in Kenya, Dr. Anna Watoła again provided gifts for students. School supplies, IT equipment and educational software are to support the education process of African children, particularly from Maasai tribes. In return, the students who receive IT equipment and software undertake to teach lessons at schools – in Wasini Island or Amboseli. This activity also involves Kenyan university lecturers. Transport of gifts was possible thanks to the support of Enter Air airline and TUI travel agency.
