DigiEduHack – programming marathon for digital education

From 9 to 10 November 2021, the DigiEduHack, a 24-hour programming marathon for innovative solutions in digital education, will take place. The programme includes 41 thematic challenges.

The organiser of the challenge entitled “Cieszyn – Tools where knowledge gets organised” is the Faculty of Arts and Educational Science of the University of Silesia. The meeting will start on 9 November, at 9.00 a.m. in room no. 121 in the main building of the faculty, at ul. Bielska 62 in Cieszyn. The works will be judged by a jury including Tomasz Kopczyński PhD, from the Faculty of Arts and Educational Science of the University of Silesia. The event is intended for students. Applications may be sent individually or in groups. You can register until 27 October. Participation in the marathon is free of charge.

DigiEduHack is an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) implemented as part of the “Digital Education Action Plan 2021-2027” proposed by the European Commission. The event is led by the EIT Climate-KIC and coordinated by Aalto University in Finland.

In 2021, The main stage event is hosted by the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the European Union together with the International Research Centre On Artificial Intelligence (IRCAI) under the auspices of UNESCO.
