On Tuesday, 30 April at 5.30 p.m., the Rialto Cinema Theatre in Katowice will host the meeting entitled ‘Can young people save our world?’, during which the audience will have the opportunity to view the screening of the film I am Greta (directed by Nathan Grossman, Sweden, 2020). The film focuses on Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg, who launched a climate school strike outside the parliament in August 2018, thus posing the question to adults: if no one cares about her future on Earth, why should she care about her future at school?

The hosts for the meeting will be Prof. Piotr Skubała (Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Silesia) and Ryszard Kulik, PhD (Workshop for All Beings).

The meeting is organised by: the Ecological Thinking Club, Metropolis GZM, the University of Silesia in Katowice, and Millennium Docs Against Gravity.

Entry is free of charge, but you will need to pick up a free entry pass at the cinema box office or download it via the website at rialto.katowice.pl.

Detailed information about the event can be found on the Facebook event page.
