What happens when fiction meets science? Surely, a new invention emerges! In his books, Stanisław Lem portrayed many incredible ideas, which later were turned by scientists into real inventions. The representatives of the Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE will attempt to show a few of them and explain how their function during ŚFN on Tour as part of the first Polish futurological family picnic Lemoniada 2022. We will set up our stand in the Planetarium – Silesian Science Park on 8 and 9 October 2022 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The ŚFN on Tour initiative constitutes festival shows (exhibition stands run by ŚFN KATOWICE exhibitors, meeting with scientists, lectures, and other attractions), carried out as part of the guest mobile zone operating during various events promoting science.
