Professor Wiesław Banyś, Rector of the University of Silesia, President of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (CRASP) got honorary title – “Person of the Year 2013”. His Magnificence Rector of the University of Silesia prof. zw. dr hab. Wiesław Banyś is awarded by the monthly magazine “Europerspektywy” for modernizing the image of the University, the highest standards of education and for cooperation with the business industry of Upper Silesia and Zagłębie Region.
