The ceremony of awarding diplomas to laureates of the Minister of Science and Higher Education scholarships for academic merits or outstanding sporting achievements will take place on 22 February 2011 at 3 pm in the Kazimierz Lepszy auditorium at the rector’s office building in Katowice.
In the academic year 2010/2011 among the laureates of this honourable distinction are 65 students of the University of Silesia, which makes our University the fourth most-awarded university in Poland. One scholarship will be awarded for outstanding sporting achievements, while the remaining sixty-four will be awarded for academic merits.
