The University of Silesia in Katowice has established cooperation with the Teacher Training Centre in Bielsko-Biała (BBODN). The objective of the cooperation is education and popularisation of science. The agreement was signed on 12 November 2021 in Bielsko-Biała. The document was signed by the Vice-Rector for Education and Students, Katarzyna Trynda PhD, Associate Professor, and the director of BBODN, Agnieszka Herma, PhD.
The cooperation will concern, inter alia, implementation of joint teaching, research and popularisation projects, organisation of seminars, open lectures, conferences, meetings, and study visits. The University of Silesia and the BBODN will also jointly develop research tools for the analysis and interpretation of social and cultural processes, as well as issue scientific and methodological publications for the professional development of teachers. The agreement will also cover the joint organisation of undertakings supporting activities aimed at adjusting the directions of education to the needs of the labour market and participation in scientific research.
