The University of Silesia in Katowice has established teaching and scientific cooperation with the municipality of Pszczyna and the Princes of Pszczyna Primary School No. 1 in Pszczyna. The agreement was signed on 23 November 2021. The document was signed by the Katarzyna Trynda, PhD, Associate Professor, Vice-Rector for Education and Students, Barbara Sopot-Zembok, Deputy Mayor of Pszczyna, and Witold Wiktorczyk, Director of the school.
The cooperation will involve, among others, support for the school in conducting classes and raising the professional qualifications of the teaching staff. An important point of the agreement is also the municipality’s support and motivation of the most talented students by enriching the educational offer with classes enabling comprehensive preparation for university studies in accordance with their individual interests. In addition, the school will enable the students of the University of Silesia to carry out pedagogical internships, as well as to conduct research among teachers, students, and their parents.
