Prof. Ryszard Koziołek, Rector of the University of Silesia, was elected the Deputy Chair of the Conference of Rectors of Universities in Poland (KRUP) for the term 2020–2024. The activity of the Conference of Rectors of Universities in Poland mainly focuses on strengthening cooperation between the universities, preparing and presenting the positions in matters significant for the development of Polish science, higher education, as well as culture and education.
