Working with Students with Special Educational Needs

The Department of Language Didactics and Polish Literature of the University of Silesia and the Polish Language and Literature Scientific Circle “Bakałarz” are happy to invite you to take part in the 3rd International Scientific Conference on the topic “Working with Students with Special Educational Needs”. The conference will take place  between 29th and 30th of March 2012.   

This meeting will constitute an opportunity to share the results of the research done on teaching children and young people with special educational needs. It will include the following topics:

  • the specifics of working with gifted students (forms, work methods, didactic solutions),
  • the specifics of working with students with developmental disorders and dysfunctions (forms, work methods, didactic solutions),
  • diagnosing the level of knowledge and skills (especially linguistic) of children and young people with special educational needs (research techniques, research results, didactic conclusions),
  • forecasting changes in education (especially linguistic) of children and young people with special educational needs.

We cordially invite all students, Ph.D. students, teachers and academic researchers to take part in the conference.
