We would like to invite members of the academic community of the University of Silesia to participate in the debate on the freedom of using symbols in the academic space. The online meeting starts on 2 December at 5 PM.<\/p>\n
The event will be divided into two parts. The first part will consist in the discussion between invited staff and students of the University of Silesia. In the second part, all interested members of the academic community of the University of Silesia will be allowed to ask questions and present their point of view. The debate will be complemented with legal opinions prepared by scholars representing different disciplines of law.<\/p>\n
The meeting will be held under the patronage of Student and Doctoral Student Ombudsperson, and Ombudsperson for Academic Rights and Values. The debate is intended to provide recommendations for the Rector and the Senate, concerning the regulation of these issues at our University.<\/p>\n

You can participate in the event if you have an accounts on MS Teams registered with the University of Silesia.
