In recent days, there have been massive cyber attacks on critical infrastructure and information systems in Poland and abroad due to Russia’s attack on Ukraine. During the first days of Russia’s war against Ukraine alone, Poland was repelling around 30,000 cyberattacks per day. Since December 2021, the University of Silesia in Katowice, the Silesian University of Technology, the University of Economics in Katowice, and Research and Academic Computer Network (NASK) have formed a joint Silesian Centre for Legal Engineering, Technology and Digital Competence CYBER SCIENCE, undertaking scientific and teaching research related to cyberspace. In agreement with the rectors of the universities and the director of NASK, a cyber security training will be organised for all university employees.<\/span><\/p>\n

The meeting, which will take place on Tuesday, 1 March 2022, at 5 p.m. on <\/span>Zoom<\/span><\/a> (Meeting ID: 953 4330 7598, Password: 648818), will be led by Pawe\u0142 Kasprowski, PhD, DSc Eng., Associate Professor of the Silesian University of Technology.<\/span><\/p>\n
