The Silesian Water Centre of the University of Silesia in Katowice and the \u201cWhy Not\u201d Foundation are organising a scientific conference, which will take place on 23 March 2022 at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Silesia in Sosnowiec at ul. B\u0119dzi\u0144ska 60. The event serves as a summary of the two-week-long kayaking trip down the Vistula River, from Gocza\u0142kowice to Gda\u0144sk, undertaken to collect biological samples for hydrobiological testing and water samples for physicochemical testing. The results of testing, research, and problems and challenges regarding the functioning of large rivers will be presented during the event. Prof. Ryszard Kozio\u0142ek, Rector of the University of Silesia, took honourary patronage over the event.<\/p>\n
You can participate in the conference on site and online. In both cases, you need to register your participation by filling in and submitting the registration form by 21 March.<\/p>\n
