\u9759\u3051\u3055\u306b (shizukesa ni<\/em>) in Japanese means \u2018in silence’. It is also the title of the exhibition by Lidia Rozmus that you can see in the main hall of the Centre for Scientific Information and Academic Library (CINiBA) from 12 October to 30 November 2022.<\/p>\n The exhibited works allude to three \u2018books for writing\u2019 by Lidia Rozmus: \u2018The Republic of Mole Hill\u2019, \u2018In Silence\u2019, and \u2018A Little Planet\u2019 set in Japanese art and aesthetics. The exhibition includes traditional art forms of the Land of the Rising Sun such as sumi-e, haiga, haiku, haibun or haibunga.<\/p>\n Lidia Rozmus is a graphic designer, art historian, author of haiga and sumi-e, and haiku poet. Her works have been exhibited in the United States, Japan, Australia, and Italy.<\/p>\n The opening of the \u2018In Silence\u2019 exhibition begins at 5 p.m. on Wednesday 12 October in the Scientific Information Centre and Academic Library. The event takes place within the celebration of the 10th anniversary of CINiBA.<\/p>\n
