The Scientific Information Centre and Academic Library in Katowice (ul. Bankowa 11a) will host a meeting with Prof. Krzysztof Jarosz, one of the translators of the book <\/span>The Years<\/span><\/i> by Annie Ernaux, this year\u2019s Nobel Prize winner in literature. The event will take place on 31 January at 5 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n Annie Ernaux has also written works such as <\/span>A Man’s Place<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>L’Autre fille<\/span><\/i> (The Other Girl), and <\/span>A Woman’s Story<\/span><\/i>. In the last of these publications, she referred to her own creative process: \u2018It\u2019s not a biography and obviously not a novel either, maybe something on the borderline between literature, sociology, and history.
