Bankowa 11a).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event will be a great opportunity to evaluate the challenges and environmental and social needs regarding rivers in the Metropolis GZM in light of the ecological catastrophe on the Oder river in 2022 and in the context of the EU\u2019s Water Framework Directive and the EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Scientists from the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Silesia will also be included among the speakers:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">11.05 a.m. \u2013 11.20 a.m. \u2013 Prof. Andrzej Wo\u017anica: \u201cPo pierwsze jako\u015b\u0107 \u2013 relacja z bada\u0144 terenowych oraz potrzeba rozwoju systemu monitoringu\u201d [Quality first &#8211; an account of field research and the need to develop a monitoring system],<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">11.30 a.m. \u2013 11.40 a.m. \u2013 Prof. Piotr Skuba\u0142a: \u201eSytuacj\u0119 przyrodnicz\u0105 i mo\u017cliwo\u015bci dzia\u0142a\u0144 \u00abrewitalizacyjnych\u00bb dla rzek w Metropolii\u201d [The natural situation and opportunities for &#8220;revitalisation&#8221; measures for rivers in the Metropolis].<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The debate is one of a series of five debates in the regions along the Oder river with regional stakeholders.
