Ligonia 29, Katowice).<\/p>\n<p>Musicologists consider Witold Lutos\u0142awski to be one of the greatest composers of all time, alongside Fryderyk Chopin and Karol Szymanowski. The most prominent representative of Polish contemporary music is also believed to be among the classics of 20th-century music, along with Bela Bart\u00f3k, Sergei Prokofiev and Olivier Messiaen.<\/p>\n<p>The programme includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Miniature<\/em> for 2 Pianos\/4 Hands;<\/li>\n<li><em>Epitaph<\/em> for Oboe and Piano;<\/li>\n<li><em>Grave<\/em> Metamorphoses for Cello and Piano;<\/li>\n<li><em>Lullaby<\/em> and <em>Subito<\/em> for Violin and Piano;<\/li>\n<li><em>Children&#8217;s Songs<\/em> for Voice with Piano.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The event will be hosted by Ed. Beata Tomanek from Radio Katowice and Prof. Maciej Sablik from the University of Silesia in Katowice.<\/p>\n<p>Participation in the event is free of charge. In order to participate, you have to <a href=\"https:\/\/formularze.us.edu.pl\/site\/index\/847\">register via a form<\/a>. Registration is open until 16 May.<\/p>\n<p>The concert will be broadcast online on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=-sXldQJLDc4\">University\u2019s YouTube Channel<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The event is carried out within the City-Region-Academia stream as part of the European City of Science Katowice 2024.
