The University of Silesia in Katowice has introduced a new education model from the 2023\/2024 academic year, which aims to prepare students for the challenges of the modern world. In the curricula of most 1st cycle degree programmes and long-cycle studies, field-specific education<\/a> has been introduced to support specialised education. A total of 2,556 hours of classes will be held in 132 groups from 12 modules in 6 areas (digital world, creative expression and critical thinking, frontiers of science, civil society and entrepreneurship, natural environment and technologies, health and personal development).<\/p>\n Each student pursuing field-specific education will take part in 20 hours of workshop or project classes as part of a previously selected module during the project week, which, according to the schedule, is planned for:<\/p>\n During the project week, you will be able to acquire skills and competences and supplement your knowledge in the thematic areas previously identified during lectures.<\/p>\n The project week is also an opportunity to integrate all students on the Katowice campus.
