On the occasion of the 50-year anniversary of Czech Studies at the University of Silesia, the Faculty of Humanities in Sosnowiec (ul. gen. S. Grota-Roweckiego 5) will host a unique student show entitled \u2018Things we were taught in the primary school \u2013 Fun in school!\u2019 The event takes place on 29 January 2025, at 1-2.30 p.m. in the Faculty Council Room.<\/p>\n
The event includes:<\/p>\n

- A recitation of Julian Tuwim’s Locomotive<\/em> in Czech \u2013 a second-year student will recall her memories from her school years, reminding us that Czech Studies is not only about learning a language but also about having fun with literature.<\/li>\n
- An interpretation of Karel Jarom\u00edr Erben\u2019s The Water-Goblin<\/em> \u2013 a classical Czech poem in a modern release, recited by third-year students.<\/li>\n
- Riddles by poet Radek Mal\u00fd \u2013 unconventional recitations of riddles, showing the beauty and humour of Czech poetry.<\/li>\n
- A theatrical spectacle Czech Sky<\/em> \u2013 fourth-year students will present a play inspired by J\u00e1ra Cimrman\u2019s repertoire in the spirit of Jan Amos Comenius\u2019 philosophy and his motto that school should be fun.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
The event will have a side event in the form of an exhibition dedicated to Franz Kafka, lent by the Czech Centre in Warsaw.<\/p>\n
The event celebrates the half-century period of Czech Studies at the University of Silesia, and this extraordinary jubilee deserves a fabulous celebration together!<\/p>\n

My v\u00e1m p\u0159edstav\u00edme toto klasick\u00e9 d\u00edlo tro\u0161ku jinak. Voicebandovou recitaci si pro v\u00e1s p\u0159ipravili studenti 3. ro\u010dn\u00edku. Aby voicebandu nebylo m\u00e1lo a po\u0159\u00e1dn\u011b jste si ho u\u017eili, tak zkus\u00edte h\u00e1dat odpov\u011bdi na h\u00e1danky od b\u00e1sn\u00edka Radka Mal\u00e9ho, kter\u00e9 op\u011bt netradi\u010dn\u011b zarecituj\u00ed t\u0159e\u0165\u00e1ci.<\/p>\n
A na z\u00e1v\u011br z\u016fstaneme v\u011brni odkazu Jana Amose Komensk\u00e9ho, kter\u00fd propagoval a \u0161\u00ed\u0159il sv\u00e9 motto \u201e\u0161kola hrou\u201c. Studenti 4. ro\u010dn\u00edku v\u00e1m zahraj\u00ed divadeln\u00ed p\u0159edstaven\u00ed \u010cesk\u00e9 nebe z\u00a0reperto\u00e1ru Divadla J\u00e1ry Cimrmana.<\/p>\n

Slavte s\u00a0n\u00e1mi a p\u0159ij\u010fte se pod\u00edvat na na\u0161e p\u00e1smo tradi\u010dn\u00ed i netradi\u010dn\u00ed recitace a zhl\u00e9dnout divadlo \u010cesk\u00e9 nebe.<\/p>\n
