From 27 to 29 June 2025, the Prof. J\u00f3zef \u015awider 10th International Festival of Music in Cieszyn will be held in the auditorium of the \u2018Dom Narodowy’ Cieszyn Cultural Centre (ul. Rynek 12).<\/p>\n
The aim of the Festival is to cultivate singing traditions, develop interest in choral music and promote and popularise the compositional work of J\u00f3zef \u015awider as well as other composers associated with Cieszyn Silesia. Participants will also have the opportunity to exchange artistic, cultural and educational experiences, improve the performance level of amateur choral groups and promote contemporary choral literature.<\/p>\n
The festival will include:<\/p>\n
The competition is intended for amateur Polish and foreign groups. The Artistic Council appointed by the organisers decides on admission to the Festival.<\/p>\n
The Grand Prix and all special prizes in the on-site competition are cash prizes.<\/p>\n
