One of the events prepared for participants is a panel discussion entitled \u2018Why, why connect? Why doesn\u2019t it work? Can it be done differently?\u2019, which will be attended among others by Prof. Ryszard Kozio\u0142ek, Rector of the University of Silesia in Katowice and Prof. Celina Olszak, Rector of the University of Economics in Katowice. Among other things, participants will discuss the development prospects of the country\u2019s universities and the possibilities and desirability of their potential merger.<\/p>\n<p>Welconomy is a cyclical economic and socio-economic forum that takes place in Toru\u0144 and brings together representatives of business, science, politics, public administration and the media. The event discusses current economic, socio-economic, and political challenges.
