On 6 June, we began preparations for the space flight of Polish astronaut S\u0142awosz Uzna\u0144ski-Wi\u015bniewski planned for 10 June. As part of the \u2018We\u2019re Going to Space with S\u0142awosz\u2019 campaign, several lectures and workshops for school students were held at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Silesia. During the event, we also connected with analog astronauts from the Lunares Research Station in Pi\u0142a. The meeting was hosted by Ewelina Zambrzycka-Ko\u015bcielnicka from the Space Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Ambassador of the Silesian Science Festival Katowice.<\/strong><\/p>\n The speakers included members of the teams of Agnieszka Skorupa, PhD from the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Silesia, and Izabela Poprawa, PhD, DSc, Assoc. Prof., from the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Silesia. Scientists have developed two projects: AstroMentalHealth and Yeast TardigradeGene. Experiments planned by Silesian scientists will be conducted on the ISS by S\u0142awosz Uzna\u0144ski-Wi\u015bniewski, PhD Eng..
