There are several techniques for construing feedback. Here we provide the FECE technique, which seems to be easy to remember and implement in a certain situation of formulating critique against somebody. How to decipher the FECE acronym?<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>\r\n                <div class=\"text-modules\">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                        \r\n                        <div class=\"text-modules__content\"><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 28px;\">F<\/span> stands for facts\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Carefully describe a given situation and behaviour you observe (Remember, there is no point in commenting on somebody\u2019s character traits; the point is a conversation about the behaviour as it undergoes a change).<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">Example: <em>If I understood correctly, you\u2019ve just told a joke that women with blonde hair are unable to think, haven&#8217;t you? <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 28px;\">E<\/span> stands for emotions <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Express the emotions, feelings, and attitude to the behaviour of the discriminating person.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Example: <em>I feel embarrassed<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 28px;\">C<\/span> stands for consequences<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">What are the consequences of the discriminating behaviour? How does it affect you or others?<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Example: <em>Just because you tell jokes like that, you\u2019re losing respect in my eyes. Perhaps also in the eyes of other women, regardless of their hair colour<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 28px;\">E <\/span>stands for expectations<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Describe the behaviour that should occur in the short-term and long-term future.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Example: <em>Don\u2019t tell jokes based on the assumption that someone has to be stupid. Or at least don\u2019t tell them to me<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>\r\n                <div class=\"text-modules\">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                        \r\n                        <div class=\"text-modules__content\"><\/p>\n<p>After expressing your critical feedback:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take responsibility for your point of view and defend it in a discussion if one occurs.<\/li>\n<li>Remember, a general rule is that you should react as soon as possible after an event; however, take into account the mental state of yours and your interlocutor. For example, when preparing for a meeting, the supervisor suggests that a man should prepare the projector and a woman the coffee and tea, the micro-reaction might be for the woman to say, \u201cI would like to prepare the projector\u201d and start the announced activity without delay.<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>[vc_tta_accordion style=&#8221;modern&#8221; c_icon=&#8221;&#8221; active_section=&#8221;&#8221; collapsible_all=&#8221;true&#8221;][vc_tta_section i_icon_fontawesome=&#8221;fa fa-caret-down&#8221; add_icon=&#8221;true&#8221; title=&#8221;more information on micro-reactions&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;wiecej-informacji-na-temat-mikroreakcji&#8221; el_class=&#8221;vc_btn3-container container vc_btn3-inline&#8221;]\r\n                <div class=\"text-modules\">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                        \r\n                        <div class=\"text-modules__content\"><\/p>\n<p>Micro-reactions\u00a0are easier to apply in a situation when we are a witness of discrimination.
