You are appealing to your associations with individuals, not their positions and functions in a team&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1637939069877-93870c3e-07d0&#8243;]\r\n                <div class=\"text-modules\">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                        \r\n                        <div class=\"text-modules__content\"><\/p>\n<p>Micro-inequalities are \u201csmall acts of domination and oppression\u201d consisting in subtle, hard to grasp, and often unconscious and unintentional behaviours that devalue the person they are directed towards (because of some characteristic that distinguishes them from the majority).\u00a0When, in a formal meeting, you ask a man to help you with the projector and a woman to take notes, you are creating micro-inequalities. You are appealing to people\u2019s characteristics and your assumptions about them, not to their positions and functions in the team.\u00a0You can also create micro-inequalities through your non-verbal communication when you roll your eyes, sigh, or interrupt people with a certain characteristic, e.g. young age.<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>[\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Treat all students and employees equally&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1637939234971-79f46d9f-85e8&#8243;]\r\n                <div class=\"text-modules\">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                        \r\n                        <div class=\"text-modules__content\"><\/p>\n<p>Treat all students and employees equally regardless of their background, gender, political opinion, nationality, disability, social status, religion, sexual orientation, or other characteristics. This does not imply an obligation to treat everyone equally, without any differentiation, but to apply the same norms, requirements, standards in the same or similar situations, e.g. all employees of a given group are subject to the same working time standards, all those studying a given module have the same examination requirements.<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>[\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Do not let yourself or others in the class or at work use terms considered offensive, sexist, racist and homophobic, degrading and judging others&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1637939277586-88e3aa50-a327&#8243;]\r\n                <div class=\"text-modules\">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                        \r\n                        <div class=\"text-modules__content\"><\/p>\n<p>If you are in doubt about what constitutes such a term, check or ask, do not stick to your existing beliefs and habits, because attitudes, and therefore behaviours, towards a diverse groups of \u201cOthers\u201d are evolving rapidly in today&#8217;s world.<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>[\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;While carrying out your duties, especially while organising classes, preparing educational materials, participating in drafting regulations, procedures, or legal acts, always check whether or not you might be discriminating against a certain group of people&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1637939315568-bbe4f618-bca7&#8243;]\r\n                <div class=\"text-modules\">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                        \r\n                        <div class=\"text-modules__content\"><\/p>\n<p>Keeping that in mind, analyse both the content and the way it is organised and implemented, e.g. check whether everyone can read the presentation\/file, access the building, whether you might be excluding anyone in the process of creating new regulations.\u00a0Discrimination does not have to be intentional, you may treat others unequally without intending to.<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>[\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Carefully analyse the situations in which someone perceives your behaviour as unequal treatment&#8221;
