Extra retake examination<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

Remember that in accordance with the 2021 Rules and Regulations of Studies at the University of Silesia, you have the right to an additional crediting date and a retake exam. In relation to each subject you have the right to the 1st date and the 2nd date. This applies to both exams and credits from practicals, labs, etc.<\/p>\n

An extra retake credit and extra retake examination are not automatically granted to every student who does not receive a positive grade during the 2nd date!<\/p>\n

    Extra retake examination is granted:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. only based on a motivated (properly substantiated) student’s application<\/strong><\/li>\n
    2. and only when a given case can be considered justified<\/strong> \u2013 which is assessed by the relevant dean<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The Rules and Regulations of Studies do not indicate<\/strong> in which situations we can talk about “justified cases” in which the student should be granted the right to an extra retake examination. Decisions in this regard are left to the deans<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      Examples of reasons that can be invoked in the extra retake examination application may include:<\/p>\n
