Project title:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0empoweRing univErsity Students Through heaLth EntrepreneurShip TrainingS<\/span><\/p>\n Project acronym:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0RESTLESS<\/span><\/p>\n Coordinating institution name:<\/span> <\/strong>Univeristy of Silesia in Katowice<\/span><\/p>\n Partners:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Duration:<\/strong> 24 months<\/span><\/p>\n Funding from the Erasmus+ programme<\/strong>: \u20ac250,000<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The RESTLESS project aims to inspire, train, and strengthen the market position of students by educating and improving their skills and knowledge in the areas of entrepreneurship, digital, and green (environmental) competencies.<\/p>\n They are crucial in the era of economic digitization for increasing the innovation potential of all industries, including the healthcare sector. This sector in particular faces many social and medical challenges that can be solved with innovative ideas.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n As part of the RESTLESS project, universities and SMEs from Poland, Germany, Portugal, Greece, and Cyprus will design a training programme to develop skills and knowledge in entrepreneurship, digital technologies, and ecology, and to raise participants’ awareness in key health-related areas. Students and graduates specializing in medicine, natural sciences, business, engineering, and ICT will have the opportunity to join the Health Entrepreneurship Bootcamps programme and present their ideas at the final conference.<\/p>\n The main objectives of the project are:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u2013 equipping students and graduates of medicine, natural sciences, engineering, business, and ICT with the skills required by the medical industry of the future (including entrepreneurial, digital, and ecological skills) and providing them with the basics for starting their own business;<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u2013 to inspire, empower, and train both students and graduates from various fields (medicine, natural sciences, business, engineering, ICT) and equip them with the relevant skills needed for the digital and green transformation of the health sector;<\/p>\n \u2013 inspiring, training, and enabling students and\/or graduates of these fields to start a business in the health sector by creating products or services that respond to social challenges related to health;<\/p>\n \u2013 encouraging all partners to share their experiences in order to identify best practices in integrating entrepreneurship related to the health sector, digital and green skills into the curriculum.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Activities realised as part of the project:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n An online course available on the Moodle platform of the University of Silesia in Katowice, aimed at students and anyone interested in developing entrepreneurial, innovative, and managerial skills.<\/p>\n The course programme combines academic knowledge with a practical approach to business, with a particular focus on management, communication, commercialization of innovation, marketing, health and medicine, and start-up creation.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The course allows you to gain:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Course structure:<\/strong><\/p>\n The course consists of 10 independent modules that can be completed at a flexible pace:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n After completing each module, participants receive a certificate confirming their competence in a given area.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Access to the course<\/strong><\/p>\n The course is available online on the Moodle platform: https:\/\/el.us.edu.pl\/restless\/<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Organized on November 24-25, 2025<\/strong>, at spinPLACE<\/strong> (ul. Bankowa 5, Katowice).<\/p>\n A two-day intensive educational and business event aimed at developing entrepreneurial skills in the health sector among university students and graduates. The bootcamp combined structured training with practical application of knowledge in the form of a hackathon, enabling participants to move from identifying a health problem to creating a working prototype solution (MVP \u2013 Minimum Viable Product).<\/p>\n For two days, interdisciplinary teams worked on real prototypes in the following areas:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n During the boot camp, participants were able to deepen their knowledge in the following areas:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The projects were evaluated by the jury in terms of:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n By attending the boot camp, participants gained:<\/p>\n – \u201eA\u201d grade \u00a0in the Entrepreneurship course,<\/p>\n – A working prototype \u2013 which could serve as the basis for a thesis,<\/p>\n – An Erasmus+ certificate (16 hours of certified training),<\/p>\n – Material prizes for the top three teams,<\/p>\n – Mentoring for selected projects,<\/p>\n – Networking with entrepreneurs from the health-tech industry.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Additionally, the teams that come in first and second place will receive a trip for one representative to the final conference of the RESTLESS project in Cyprus (costs covered by the project), and the other members of the finalist teams will receive material prizes.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The event regulations are available here: https:\/\/us.edu.pl\/student\/komunikaty\/restless-health-entrepreneurship-bootcamp\/<\/a><\/p>\n Do you have an idea on how to improve healthcare? Join a two-day boot camp where you will create a prototype solution in an interdisciplinary team.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n So what will you be working on?<\/strong><\/p>\n You’ll pick one of four areas:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n What does it look like?<\/strong><\/p>\n Day 1:<\/strong> Workshops, team formation, challenge selection, start of work<\/p>\n Day 2:<\/strong> Prototyping, consultations with experts, presentations, results<\/p>\n When?<\/strong> November 24-25, 9:00 a.m. \u2013 5:00 p.m. (both days), spinPLACE U\u015a, Katowice<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Who is it for?<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n For students and graduates of all fields \u2013 computer science, engineering, medicine, psychology, business, biotechnology, design. We need different perspectives to create innovations that work.<\/p>\n You don’t need to have business experience. You just need to be willing to try.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n What will you get?<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201eA\u201d grade for completing the Entrepreneurship module<\/strong> \u2013 this is usually the main reason why people participate.<\/p>\n But also:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n How to sign up?<\/strong> Just fill out the application form.
