WiFi and Student e-mail account<\/h3>\r\n

Students of the University of Silesia have an opportunity to use wireless internet free of charge in university’s buildings. Moreover, owning the university account they are able to get access to the internet in most universities in Poland.<\/p>\n

In order to\u00a0get access\u00a0to university’s WiFi you’ll need to choose student-us<\/strong> or eduroam<\/strong> WiFi source and may enter the following information to your device:<\/p>\n

SSID: student-us
\nprotection: WPA2-Enterprise
\nencryption: AES
\nauthentication method: Microsoft: protected protocol EAP
\ncertificate: AddTrust External CA Root
\nserver: radius.us.edu.pl
\nauthentication: secure password (EAP-MSCHAPv2)<\/p>\n

Log-in: your student e-mail address<\/strong> (example: john.kovalsky@us.edu.pl)
\nPassword: password of your e-mail address<\/strong><\/p>\n

\r\n Step 1. <\/strong>Go to USNET Website<\/a><\/u><\/span>, enter your USOS ID (Polish ID number – PESEL, number from IRK or index number) and password and click Przejd\u017a dalej<\/u> (Continue). \r\n
