The idea of \u200b\u200bthe largest event popularizing science in Poland is to awaken the scientific curiosity of the participants of this unique festival, regardless of age and interests.\u00a0During the last edition of the Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE, as many as 79\u00a0events and 199 show stands\u00a0were organized\u00a0and space for over 1,400 exhibitors was made available.\u00a0The festival area was visited by a total number of over 35,000\u00a0participants who took part in\u00a0shows, experiments, presentations and discussions and were able to listen to the opinions of excellent speakers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The University of Silesia in Katowice is the originator of the festival and its leader.
