International cooperation and exchange are important aspects of academic activity. It is difficult to imagine today a university without students and staff from abroad, programmes in foreign languages, international mobility of students and academic staff as well as international projects and research.<\/p>\n
Intensive international cooperation conducted by the University of Silesia allows for academic exchange and various educational and scientific projects undertaken together with partners from over 90 countries around the world. Every year, about 700 students and PhD students of the University of Silesia, as well as about 2,000 employees whose trips are connected with the implementation of scientific research, international projects, participation in conferences, as well as educational activities, benefit from the academic exchange offer. At the same time, our university is visited by approximately 2,800 academic, educational and administrative employees representing partner institutions.<\/p>\n
