The Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland <\/A>and \u201cPerspektywy\u201d Educational Foundation<\/A> are organizing, within the framework of the \u201cStudy in Poland<\/A>\u201d programme, a conference dedicated to the following issues: internationalization of Polish higher education and increasing the mobility of students and researchers.<\/P>

The symposium entitled \u201cInternational students in Poland 2011\u201d will be held in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a on 23-25 February 2011. The participants will be hosted by three academic schools: The University of \u0141\u00f3d\u017a,  <\/A> The Technical University of \u0141\u00f3d\u017a <\/A>and Medical University of \u0141\u00f3d\u017a<\/A>. The University of Silesia will be represented by vice-rector for research and economic cooperation prof. U\u015a dr hab. Andrzej Kowalczyk<\/A>, prof. U\u015a dr hab. Jolanta Tambor<\/A> \u2013 director of the School of Polish Language and Culture, rector\u2019s proxy for cooperation with Asia and Eastern Europe, and employees from the Department of International Relations and Projects.<\/A><\/P>

At the 3rd<\/SUP> plenary session prof. U\u015a dr hab. Jolanta Tambor will give a lecture entitled \u201cSlavicists and Polish scholars as import and export opportunities for Polish humanities\u201d.<\/P>
