On 26-28 of June 2013 University of Silesia hosted the official delegation from Northeastern University in Shenyang, China.<\/p>\n
Cooperation between our University and the Northeastern University in Shenyang started some years ago, and the official cooperation agreement has been signed in 2013.<\/p>\n
The agreement includes:
– teachers and researchers exchange,
– students exchange
– joint research projects conduction
– joint organization of conferences.<\/p>\n
Also our regions \u2013 Upper Silesia, Poland and Liaoning Province, China started the cooperation in various fields, and have signed interregional cooperation agreement in 2012.<\/p>\n
Head of the Chinese delegation will be prof. Ding Lieyun, President of the Northeastern University, and other members of the delegation will be prof. Yu Fuxiao, Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department of the Northeastern University, Mr Wang Enguang, translator, from the International Cooperation and Exchange Department, Liu Wansheng, Director of the Education Division, Embassy of the People\u2019s Republic of China nad Kang Hui, also from the Embassy of the People\u2019s Republic of China.<\/p>\n
Delegation from the Northeastern University met by prof. Wies\u0142aw Bany\u015b, rector of the University of Silesia, as well as prof. Miros\u0142aw Nakonieczny, Vice-Rector for Internationalisation, Institutional Affairs and Public Relations, prof. Jolanta Tambor, director of the School of Polish Language and Culture, prof. Romuald Cudak from the International Chair of Polish Studies, Mrs Agata W\u00f3jcik, Head of the International Relations Office, as well as many other official, including representatives of local authorities. <\/p>\n
