Many significant guests were present, among them: Adam Matusiewicz, Marchal of the Silesian Voivodeship, vice-rectyors: prof. Miros\u0142aw Nakonieczny, prof. Andrzej Kowalczyk, prof. Stanis\u0142aw Kucharski. Signatories of the agreement were: prof. Wies\u0142aw Bany\u015b, rector of the University of Silesia and Romuald Gacka, director of the IBM Polska S.A. branch in Katowice.<\/P>
