On 18 April 2011 at 3 pm another meeting in a series called \u201cAround the World with the University of Silesia\u201d will take place in the rector\u2019s office building. This time the attendees will have an opportunity to get to know the culture, customs and traditions of Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine.<\/P>

The event programme includes, among others, presentation of a legend of the creation of Kazakhstan, tasting traditional dishes representative of the three countries, learning the languages of these countries, a lecture on Siberian ice towns, and presentation of Ukrainian stadiums for Euro 2012.<\/P>

The cycle of meetings, during which foreigners present their countries to Polish students and pupils, was launched in March.
