The Polish Academy of Sciences has comprised 89 new domestic members. The nominations were presented during the ceremony which took place on 14 January 2020.<\/p>\n
The group of individuals selected as the corresponding members includes Prof. Leszek Marynowski, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the University of Silesia, Vice-President of the Committee on Mineralogical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences and President of the Mineralogical Society of Poland in 2013\u20132016.<\/p>\n
The regular and corresponding members were elected by the General Assembly of the Polish Academy of Sciences during its 140th<\/sup> session in December 2019. Their term began on 1 January 2020.<\/p>\n The Polish Academy of Sciences consists of researchers who are distinguished by their outstanding scientific achievements and enjoy great respect in the scientific community.
