La Chaire Ethique, Technologie et Transhumanismes at the Universit\u00e9 Catholique de Lille and the Centre for Critical Technology Studies at the University of Silesia are jointly organising a seminar dedicated to the relations between the development of digital technologies and loss of forms of knowledge and skills in the context of systemic anthropocene crises. The meetings, which are the continuation of work of French philosopher Bernard Stiegler and the Internation collective established by him, will be carried out remotely in French language once a month. The initiators of the event are Anne Alombert (Universit\u00e9 Catholique de Lille) and Assoc. Prof. Micha\u0142 Krzykawski, Professor of the University of Silesia (Faculty of Humanities at the University of Silesia).<\/p>\n
During the subsequent parts of the seminar, designed as a co-creative reading workshop, the theses presented in the book entitled Bifurquer. \u00abIl n\u2019y a pas d\u2019alternative\u00bb<\/em> [ \u201cBifurcate. There is no alternative\u201d], edited by Bernard Stiegler and Internnation collective, published in June 2020, will be presented and discussed. Each of the meetings will discuss a specific chapter in the book, as well as some of the texts it refers to. It is intended to connect various age and professional groups, both academic and non-academic, which are interested in these subjects.
