Dr Monika Glosowitz from the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Silesia in Katowice has won this year\u2019s Pozna\u0144 Literary Award \u2013 Stanis\u0142aw Bara\u0144czak Scholarship for the monograph entitled \u201eMaszynerie afektywne. Literackie strategie emancypacji w najnowszej polskiej poezji kobiet\u201d (Affective machineries. Strategies of emancipation in the new Polish female poetry), published by Wydawnictwo Instytutu Bada\u0144 Literackich at the Polish Academy of Sciences, 2019. The award – Stanis\u0142aw Bara\u0144czak Scholarship is granted to authors under 35 years of age.<\/p>\n
Dr Monika Glosowitz \u2013 literature researcher, literary critic, works at the Institute of Literary Studies at the University of Silesia in Katowice. She has published her texts in \u201eCentral Europe\u201d, \u201eCzas Kultury\u201d, \u201e\u015al\u0105skie Studia Polonistyczne\u201d and \u201eTygodnik Powszechny\u201d. She has also translated texts by Michel Foucault, Rosi Braidotti, Sara Ahmed and Luce Irigaray.
