Ladies and Gentlemen,<\/em>
\nEmployees, doctoral students, students and friends of the University of Silesia!<\/em><\/p>\n

We call Christmas a period of meetings – Earth meets Heaven, divine meets human, animal meets human, excess meets poverty, and human meet human.<\/p>\n

We wish you true meetings. True means real, and what we need for that is the end of epidemic. But true also means without any masks on. So that we can see, understand and feel that we are a community of people who need one another for better life in one world.<\/p>\n

May the New Year let us get back to one another in health.<\/p>\n

We hope that this Christmas will be for you a time full of harmony, love, and especially peace, so much needed these days.<\/p>\n

In this special time, in the atmosphere free from everyday worries or rush, we would like to have more optimism, which we need to welcome every new day with energy.<\/p>\n

We also hope that this Christmas time will be a time to reflect and meditate, but also to smile. May the New Year bring us more hope and joy than the one which is about to end.<\/p>\n
