Since 1 October 2019, the University of Silesia in Katowice, together with its foreign partners: Kazimieras Simonavi\u010dius University (Lithuania), University of Malta (Malta), European University Cyprus (Cyprus) and Fundacja Wiedzy i Dialogu Spo\u0142ecznego \u201eAgere Aude\u201d from Chorz\u00f3w, has worked for the improvement of digital and communication competencies of academic staff, students as well as secondary school students and teachers under Erasmus+ programme.<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>\r\n                <div class=\"text-modules\">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                        \r\n                        <div class=\"text-modules__content\"><\/p>\n<p>The website\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/becomproject.eu\/\">becomproject.eu<\/a>\u00a0already contains the information about the first results of the projects:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201eDigital set of tools \u2013 Effective communication in era 2.0\u201d and<\/li>\n<li>\u201eDigital set of tools \u2013 Safe communication in era Web 2.0\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Short descriptions and simple video instructions were used to present a number of issues related to electronic communication &#8211; e-mail, social media, useful communication tools (e.g. MS Teams, Zoom, Skype), cloud computing work, sending large files, task delegation, working time management, research digital media (e.g. ORCID, ResearchGate, Google Scholar), computer protection, content protection, passwords and encryption.<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>\r\n                <div class=\"text-modules\">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                        \r\n                        <div class=\"text-modules__content\"><\/p>\n<h3>More tools this year<\/h3>\n<p>Although the project implementation had been initiated before the pandemic, with a view to providing daily support for education, communication and network visibility, in the times of distance learning and contact \u201eBE-COM\u201d has gained additional significance. The content describing the first results of actions is available in the following languages: Polish, English, Greek and Lithuanian.
