Admission for the Interdisciplinary Individual Studies and Individual Teacher Training Studies for the academic year 2021\/2022 has started.<\/p>\n
Choose your own path<\/h3>\n
The College of Individual Interdisciplinary Studies is an educational unit, in which students create their own curriculum. Students can choose classes from all study programmes at the University of Silesia (detailed information are available in the IRK system) by indicating one (or more) leading study programme, in which they will obtain a diploma, and they can enrich their scientific and professional development with any chosen classes from other study programmes. Throughout studies, students are supervised by a tutor chosen themselves. The extension of studies under the supervision of experts is teamwork for the 2nd cycle students at the College of Individual Interdisciplinary Studies under the Module: Miscellaneous Problems and a unique offer of modules at the College of Individual Interdisciplinary Studies created every semester according to the most novel and intriguing topics and extraordinary lecturers.<\/p>\n
Since 2020, the Individual Teacher Training Studies are available. This study programme is addressed to people who think about becoming a teacher and at the same time are interested in obtaining a teaching licence (in a school subject selected from a list) and a pedagogy licence (major in Protective and Educational Pedagogy or Pedagogical Therapy). It gives a broader view of the work in the education space, extended competencies, and a chance to create own ideas for interdisciplinary education.<\/p>\n
Thanks to such a method of creating schedules, unique and often unusual paths of student development are created. Thus, a graduate receives a unique education, which combines the professionalism of the completed study programme with additional skills and high competencies in the field of independence in their activity.<\/p>\n
