American Corner, American Cultural and Information Center in Katowice operating within the cooperation between the University of Silesia in Katowice and the United States Embassy was the best among all American Corner centres regarding their activity in 2020\/2021 realising 109 programmes. The ranking was made by the United States Embassy.<\/p>\n
The American Corner organises events addressed to all interested in the United States of America. The centre conducts numerous classes, workshops, training for teachers and educators as well as international conferences with other American Corner centres around the world. The American Corner has a library that provides access to up-to-date book collections and databases available on US eLibrary. The centre also organises film screenings and concerts. These events are to bring closer the history, culture, and geography of the United States.<\/p>\n
