Students of the University of Silesia received medals during the 1st edition of the Silesian Academic Championships in Alpine Skiing. On 13 January 2022, on the SKI Siglany slope in Wis\u0142a, our students competed in the giant slalom competition. The gold medal was awarded to Natalia Heczko from the Faculty of Science and Technology, while the bronze medal was won by Jan Wawak from the Faculty of Theology.<\/span><\/p>\n On 16 January 2022, in turn, the team from the University of Silesia also won the title of the Silesian Academic Champion in futsal, winning all matches and scoring 18 points. The winning team of the University of Silesia included:<\/span><\/p>\n The team’s coach is Aleksander Fangor.<\/span><\/p>\n On the same day, the Silesian Academic Championship in tennis was also held. It was the first edition of the tournament played in the doubles system. The University of Silesia was represented by two women’s doubles pairs.
