The University of Silesia implements new programmes within the developing equality policy. One of the first adopted policies is the Gender Equality Plan<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The promotion of equality actions will be realised through the rownetraktowanie.us.edu.pl<\/a> website, which will contain the most important information on various initiatives.<\/p>\n

The basic assumptions of the policy are contained in the Declaration of the University of Silesia \u2013 Community of Equal and Diverse<\/em> published on that website. The Declaration contains presentations regarding the Gender Equality Plan<\/em> and the GEPARD project, which aims at building a universal model for gender equality and diversity in the university space policy.<\/p>\n

The website also introduces the DUO project \u2013 the University of Silesia \u2013 available, universal and open<\/em>. Moreover, we have prepared special sections with various educational content and practical information on the University units for support in the case of equality rules violation. You can find there research reports on the needs in the area of equality policy conducted at the end of 2020.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The website will be expanded and updated with information on subsequent initiatives and actions within the existing programmes and further research.<\/p>\n
